  • What a fantastic evening. Coming from Los Angeles, where a restaurant lasts as long as it'll take you to read this review, I was more than surprised by how great this place is!! Great staff, great bar, fantastic food! A diamond in the rough if you will. If you're staying at Harrah's and not eating here you're losing more than just a quarter on the slots. Thank you Caddy's for changing my opinion of Omaha/Council Bluffs, there is GREAT FOOD to be had in these here parts. Cheers!

  • A must for Sunday brunch!! The meal in a mug which is a bloody mary that includes a bacon wrapped boiled egg, giant pork tenderloin, jerky stick, cheese cubes, cocktail onions, charbuffed wings, and a plethora of other things along with a side car of beer is an experience in & of itself. I order bacon with every meal, because it is thick cut & cooked to perfection. The pancakes that I have nicknamed "Angel Cakes" are heavenly. Service is always superb. I also recommend grabbing drinks & a meal here before Stir Cove shows. Golf course views on the patio are also fantastic!

  • For those of you familiar with the Salty Dog Bar & Grill this new restaurant is owned by the same people. They have carried over their commitment to great food and outstanding customer service.

This is a "nicer" style restaurant (white linen table cloths) but it is by no means overly fancy or uncomfortable and the pricing is more than fair.

We went for the soft opening and tried many items. Granted there were a few "misses" as there always will be, but for the most part the food was very good. The highlights were the salads, fried lasagna, mac n cheese & the bacon cheeseburger meatloaf.

On my second visit today we tried the shrimp & tenderloin scampi appetizer and the beef tenderloin stroganoff and both were outstanding. The stroganoff came with the choice of soup or salad and I chose a wedge salad. I was pleasantly surprised at what a quality salad was included without a up charge.

Give this new place a try - it's only 5 minutes from downtown - I think you will be pleased.

  • The 5 stars are for the meal in a mug Bloody Mary's. you will seriously get full, no other food needed. It's a double bloody with a bacon wrapped boiled egg, a slider, which is fantastic, slim jim, cocktail shrimp, asparagus, blue cheese and jalapeño cream cheese olives, pearl onions, and pickles!!! Also comes with a beer chaser! At $12, it's a steal!
